I, and I guess others would welcome a test build if it helps to see if the issue is resolved. See how to apply patch [1] and see if you can do the same thing - 1. https://unix.stackexchange.com/questions/324680/how-to-apply-a-patch-in-a-debian-package Look forward to seeing a new deb package and trying it out to see if it fixes the issue.
