In the package's control file the value for Homepage is „http://www.tug.org/texworks.“. The webserver replies with an 404 status code. But „http://www.tug.org/texworks“ works. „https://www.tug.org/texworks“ works too. Maybe the Homepage url should be replaced with the HTTPS URL version.
