Package: pvpgn
Version: 1.8.5-2.1
Severity: important

Dear Maintainer, hello,

I’m trying to install pvpgn 1.8.5 on Debian.

After “apt-get install pvpgn”, I’m stuck with :

# service pvpgn start
You are missing the pvpgn support files and daemon will not start
without them.
Run 'sudo pvpgn-support-installer' or read /usr/share/doc/pvpgn/README.Debian

Except that download.berlios.de doesn’t exist anymore.

I find a way to get some of these files on:
https://github.com/pvpgn/pvpgn-server/issues/363

After “git clone https://github.com/pvpgn/pvpgn-server”, I move the
files missing in /var/lib/pvpgn/files and try to start pvpgn: still the
same issue.

I try with the files/ repertory in:
wget https://github.com/pvpgn/pvpgn-server/archive/master.tar.gz

Inspecting /usr/share/doc/pvpgn/README.Debian, I notice the script
pvpgn-support-installer mentions 3 files which are not in
https://github.com/pvpgn/pvpgn-server/tree/master/files :
matchmaking-war3-default.dat, matchmaking-war3-enUS.dat and WAR3IX86.mpq

I have no ideas where I can find those files.

Or maybe pvpgn refuse to start for another reason. Is there something else
I missed?

Thanks.
