Package: reportbug Version: 7.5.0 Severity: normal Sometimes we need to report an RM bug against ftp.debian.org to remove a binary package which is no longer built.
reportbug deals with this in the interface for ftp.debian.org, asking you for the name of the which package you want removed. But then after you specify the binary package that needs to be removed, reportbug switches the Subject for the bug report to the source package instead of the binary package. This means the package needing removal is misrepresented and there is a danger the ftp team will remove the entire source package. Not the outcome we want. A recent example is #907513 requesting to remove mshr-demos. reportbug altered the Subject to mark mshr for removal instead of mshr-demos.
