this will go away as soon as the package is removed from experimental…

bad me. I wrote the "(not the case)" thinking I'd check before sending,
which obviously I didn't…
It seems the reason is not the dependency itself but "popcon" :)

They can be ignored (you should remember to mention this in the RM bug).
Of course if you could at least glance at why they are outdated, quite
often the fix is not that hard… For asterisk the fix is asking for
removal of the binaries there, since an rdep is not building on hurd
anymore, for the other the work is in progress (I think #829570 is all
it will take…).

You haven't orphaned it, being a RFA. Also, if that's the reaction to
RC bugs, then you should probably get the package removed instead, as
orphaning doesn't automagically fix bugs.

Despite all the RC bugs and being unstable-only, it still builds.
Please consider patching that instead breaking it.

dak sadly still doesn't cope with virtual packages :(

Anyway, I saw you filed those bugs as whishlist/normal. In my
experience, don't expect much traction with just wishlist bugs… Also,
consider providing patches…

Considering that your rdep is indirectly kde-standard, you should imho
ask for removal from testing only once kopete is fixed…
