During the build, the configure script shows the following warning.

Adding a build-dependency against libtirpc-dev should remove this warning.
But please, wait until libtirpc3 has reached unstable (this version is
in experimental ATM) to avoid making the transition from libtirpc1 to
libtirpc3 more difficult.
At the moment glusterfs does not build with libtirpc on Debian. I
already reported it to upstream.
Did you checked with the version currently in experimental?
