I'm also getting this issue. This
https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1471389 suggests that it can be
fixed by using more up to date
versions of the dependencies but python-mechanize doesn't seem to have been
updated in Debian since 2012 and the package page shows no sign that
the people maintaining it in Debian have noticed the change in upstream (now
the same as the Calibre upstream).
