I built gbonds with your patches and installed it without installing gconf2. Every time I start gbonds, it complains that it can't do the GConf migration.
Maybe it would be better to not show that dialog at all. For one thing, it's not going to be translated. And it's an optional dependency: since I've never used gbonds before, there are no gconf settings that need to be migrated. If someone doesn't have gconf2 installed, then they intentionally don't have it installed and I don't think it's worth alerting the user about in this case. Thanks, Jeremy Bicha
