Package: fp-units-rtl
Version: 1.9.4-5
Severity: wishlist

Hi,

why are the runtime libraries for the other supported target
architectures excluded? The fpc binary in fp-compiler already supports
cross-compilation, but the RTLs are missing.

I compiled them myself for the Win32 architecture from the source
package and everything seems to work fine. So i would like to suggest
those to be included as well, at least for the Win32 target. It would
probably also work to include them in a separate package for each
architecture.

There's just one catch: One needs the proper binutils for the
cross-target. For Win32, those are readily available in the Debian
package mingw32-binutils. I don't know about the other targets. Also,
the linker script needs to be adjusted slightly for fpc to find the
correct linker and dlltool for the Win32 target.

Simon

PS: I'm using the stable version, but i don't think this has been
included in unstable yet, so this wishlist bug might still apply.
