* What led up to the situation?
A system update. I'm not sure if it happened when Liferea was updated or some
other system component.
* What exactly did you do (or not do) that was effective (or
ineffective)?
I tried to configure plugins from the menu but this menu item is now missing.
Plugins already installed and configured still work but there is no longer an
option to change them.
* What was the outcome of this action?
Plugin menu item is now missing
* What outcome did you expect instead?
That the plugin menu would be accessable
