Hi Sergio, thanks for the bug report; you are right; this could be changed. If you have some time, you could consider to provide a patch, or a merge request on https://salsa.debian.org/debian-astro-team/saods9
BTW, if you have contacts with NASA: it may also help if we could get more of heasoft into Debian, so that users don't need to install it manually (and to tackle with different environments...) ;-) At least, it should be doable for Heasoft to use the system's Tcl/Tk and shared libraries instead of shipping incompatible ones.
