Ok, I think I misunderstood the bug report initially. You are saying that ufw
rules are unloaded from the kernel when logrotate is run? There is nothing in
ufw's log rotation that would do that, but it is possible that you have
something else installed that flushing the firewall configuration as part of
its log rotation. What is the output of:

$ ls /etc/logrotate.d
