I don't know, for the moment. First of all, we have to finish transitioning to 1.67, which is already proving rather long, and possibly getting rid of 1.62 (we can in theory ship more than a version in the same distribution, but if we can avoid it it is better from my point of view). Then, supposing that all of the above runs smoothly, we could aim for 1.69, which is due to be released for December 12th. The transition freeze is exactly a month after, so we would have just a month for doing all the work of preparing the upload, update d/copyright (a quite time consuming task), obtain a transition slot and fix all the reverse dependencies. I am not really sure we really want to go through that, but I reserve my decision for later.
