This is a quite difficult bug to trigger but it happens at least on time per hour since the update to i3 version 4.16 The symptom is pretty easy to describe: when switching from one window to another (either by calling a window from the scratchpad or by using "focus left/right") the focus stays on the previous window yet the window I expected to receive the focus appears (in case it's coming from the scratchpad) and is decorated just like a focused window. I have tried numerous way to reproduce this bug but I failed to find a pattern. I am sorry about that as I know that such an erratic bug can be a PITA without a reproducible scenario.
