After studying the log file in details and running some more tests on my
side, I think this might be an issue with piuparts actually. If you look
carefully, version 0.13.1 of python-logilab-common is not installed
during the upgrade for some reason beyond my understanding :

1m54.0s DUMP: The following packages have been kept back:
1m54.0s DUMP:     python-logilab-common

I've done the following to see if there was a problem in the
logilab-common package:

* log in my pbuiler (sid) chroot using pbuilder login
* install python with apt-get
* download python2.3-logilab-common and python-logilab-common 0.9.3 from
http://ftp.debian.org/debian/pool/main/l/logilab-common/ using wget and
install them with dpkg -i
* apt-get install python-logilab-common to get the latest version
available in debian

The upgrade works correctly, and the
/usr/lib/python2.3/site-packages/logilab directory is properly cleaned
up by the install.

I think I will close this bugreport, or maybe it should be reassigned to
piuparts, but I would appreciate your feedback on this.

Thanks
