Betreff: Re: Bug#914193: libsane: scanimage always reports Device Busy

Hello, and thanks for the quick reply!
I have purged and then reinstalled all frontends (simple.scan, skanlite,
xsane) and also sane scanbd hplip gnome-color-manager.
This list includes by dependency libsane-common and libsane.
I confirmed the "unchanged" state of the config-files.
Then I tested again, with the same non-result as in the first report.
(I was pretty sure about the outcome, because it was just a repetition.)
lsusb : usb address of the scanner is 001:006.
sane-find-scanner : the scanner is found.
scanimage -L : the scanner is identified.
scanimage > image.pnm : "scanimage: open of device pixma:04A9190D
failed: Device busy"
Then I left all devices untouched (switched on) and rebooted.
I repeated the 4 commands above with identical result (as simple user)
with the same result as before.
Attached please find the output of lsmod.
It seems to me that no sane driver is loaded - for whatever reason.
Thanks,
Wolfgang
