I did not. At the same time, my implementation is not one that upstream would want: All that upstream's configure does is select a Makefile. My implementation in debian/rules also selects a Makefile based on ${DEB_HOST_ARCH_OS}, which is generally not available on non-Debian systems. This is not perfect, but I guess it is good enough. The embedded cross.patch however is something that upstream very likely could use. I guess that it is uncontroversial. Would you be so kind and forward it? Helmut
