I am preparing an update to libagg-dev with your patch and an upstream fix. I am getting a lintian warning: pkg-config-unavailable-for-cross-compilation because the pkgconfig file is being written to /usr/lib/pkgconfig instead of /usr/share/pkgconfig. Do I need to fix this in order to support cross-compilation?
