Please describe in words what you are seeing in the udeb version, and where you are seeing it (in the ^G help text, or in the two "help lines" at the bottom of the terminal window?). Sorry, I won't be looking at screenshots. I am not familiar with Debian. Can you tell me which script or recipe is used to build nano-udeb? So that I stand a chance to build a comparable version.
