Package: network-manager Version: 1.14.4-4 Severity: normal My laptop running Debian/Testing works perfectly at home. Connects to wifi every time without problems. At home there is my own Wifi network and a few networks of neighbors. At the office it usually fails to connect, the list of Wifi APs shown through NM interfaces changes and is always a subset of the actual list of dozens of APs. When I force it to connect it often refuses saying that the AP doesn't exist (not in the subset currently displayed).
My work laptop running Debian/Stretch works perfectly at home and at the office so it seems that this is a regression from Stretch. -- System Information: Debian Release: buster/sid APT prefers stable-updates APT policy: (500, 'stable-updates'), (500, 'testing'), (1, 'experimental') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 4.18.0-2-amd64 (SMP w/4 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=en_AU.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_AU.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8), LANGUAGE=en_AU:en (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Init: systemd (via /run/systemd/system) LSM: SELinux: enabled - Mode: Enforcing - Policy name: default Versions of packages network-manager depends on: ii adduser 3.118 ii dbus 1.12.10-1 ii init-system-helpers 1.56 ii libaudit1 1:2.8.4-2 ii libbluetooth3 5.50-1 ii libc6 2.27-8 ii libcurl3-gnutls 7.62.0-1 ii libglib2.0-0 2.58.1-2 ii libgnutls30 3.5.19-1+b1 ii libjansson4 2.11-1 ii libmm-glib0 1.8.2-1 ii libndp0 1.6-1+b1 ii libnewt0.52 0.52.20-8 ii libnm0 1.14.4-4 ii libpam-systemd 239-13 ii libpolkit-agent-1-0 0.105-22 ii libpolkit-gobject-1-0 0.105-22 ii libpsl5 0.20.2-2 ii libreadline7 7.0-5 ii libselinux1 2.8-1+b1 ii libsystemd0 239-13 ii libteamdctl0 1.27-1 ii libudev1 239-13 ii libuuid1 2.32.1-0.1 ii lsb-base 10.2018112800 ii policykit-1 0.105-22 ii udev 239-13 ii wpasupplicant 2:2.6-18 Versions of packages network-manager recommends: ii crda 3.18-1 ii dnsmasq-base [dnsmasq-base] 2.80-1 ii iptables 1.8.2-2 ii isc-dhcp-client 4.3.5-4+b1 ii modemmanager 1.8.2-1 ii ppp 2.4.7-2+4 Versions of packages network-manager suggests: pn libteam-utils <none> -- no debconf information
