The latest version of libmodbus in unstable fails on mips, s390x: https://buildd.debian.org/status/package.php?p=libmodbus The failure happens in the testsuite. Based on the failing architectures, it might be an endianess issue. Also, please note this error: ./unit-tests.sh: 17: ./unit-tests.sh: killall: not found This doesn't happen for the builds that succeed. I guess the killall is done when the tests fail.
