Hi Ola,
I use PHP within Emacs. As far as I know, php-mode (php-elisp) is the
only Emacs package to provide a PHP mode. The current version of
php-elisp in Debian does not even start in Emacs (I use 26.1). This
means that currently Emacs in Debian does not support PHP language.
Would it be possible to update the php-elisp package in Debian?
Alternatively, package another recent package providing PHP mode?
Finally, if you do not have time to maintain this Debian package, can
you orphan it or fill an RFA, cf. https://wiki.debian.org/Orphaning?
Best regards,
