Package: systemd Version: 240-1 Severity: normal Hi,
I'm seeing the following error: $ sudo systemd-machine-id-setup systemd-machine-id-setup: error while loading shared libraries: libsystemd-shared-239.so: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory $ ldd /usr/bin/systemd-machine-id-setup linux-vdso.so.1 (0x00007ffdf39ec000) libc.so.6 => /lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/libc.so.6 (0x00007f188931b000) /lib64/ld-linux-x86-64.so.2 (0x00007f1889505000) libsystemd-shared-239.so => not found $ dpkg -L systemd | grep shared /lib/systemd/libsystemd-shared-240.so $ ls -l /lib/systemd/libsystemd-shared-240.so -rw-r--r-- 1 root root 2,658,696 2018-12-22 15:01 /lib/systemd/libsystemd-shared-240.so This was actually preventing package installation/upgrades as we call systemd-machine-id-setup in systemd.postinst. Any ideas? :) Best wishes, -- ,''`. : :' : Chris Lamb `. `'` la...@debian.org / chris-lamb.co.uk `-
