We can keep them by simply not removing them from the package (but it
would be wise mention that we intend to keep them as Uploader/Maintainer
in the original ITS mail).

I probably won't add myself as I do not use bchunk.  I am here because I
noted bchunk does not successfully cross-build but it has a trivial
patch for it.  That is my goal (plus add a "Rules-Requires-Root:
binary-targets" while we are add it).

However, if I can help you along the way with improving bchunk, then I
am happy to do that. :)
