Oh, bleh...sorry for that. And this "xauth-enabled" version didn't even work with the XAUTH setup we have at work. No idea whether this is me not udnerstanding all this (very likely) of openswan having problems with XAUTH when the encryption used for IKE has to be forced. Anyway, I should probably report this separately...:)
