Thanks for the bug report and especially the file in question.

Line 4955 seems to have an invalid syntax because it contains a single
blank on a line on itself:

It seems to be a trailing blank line of package description, but for
that a dot should follow that blank.

So while I think that this is a bug in Microsoft's package list
(probably coming from that package), check-enhancements should
probably still be more robust with regards to such issues.
