Sure...: Thing is, "Author" is asked for this bugreport but is not actually used anywhere in the package. As copyright holder in debian/copyright I will list only Digital Bazaar. Build routines require a range of additional packages not yet in Debian so if you happen to be able to easily shift upstream routines to only use what is in Debian then that would be awesome - but really I don't expect you to go through the trouble of that, there is nothing "wrong" with it.
