the fixed version of awesome (4.3-3) is now available in unstable.
A new autopkgtest run of lua-lgi was also triggered, but it still fails:
 https://ci.debian.net/packages/l/lua-lgi/testing/amd64/

But according to the log, it was still using the old version:

Will it automatically re-run the test at some later time or not?
Because I would assume that the trigger for "awesome/4.3-3" is now
already run...

Kind regards,
