Package: crossfire-server
Version: 1.71.0+dfsg1-1+b1
Severity: important

Dear Maintainer,

In a fresh install of the crossfire server, the /var/games/crossfire
directory is owned by root:root. Since the server runs under the games
user, this means that, without manual intervention, the server cannot
save any data - it's possible to connect to the server and play, but
accounts and characters will not be saved.

The log directory /var/log/crossfire is also owned by root, which
prevents the game from logging anything as well, which isn't ideal
either.
