Package: seaview
Version: 20021127-4.1
Severity: normal

Hi,

Here is my last bug of today...

Seaview recommends a non-free program, clustalw, but is perfectly
functionnal in its absence (apart of course that it is not able to
launch clustalw). Its main functionality is to edit multiple alignments,
and the clustalw is used only to re-align.

In addition, there is a third party modification which allows the usage
of T-Coffee, which is free, instead of clustalw. (see
http://bugs.debian.org/357584 for more details).

For these reasons, I think that seaview should be moved to main, by
"suggesting" clustalw instead of "recommending" it.

(but read http://bugs.debian.org/357585 about the newest version which
may be non-free).
