Source: package-update-indicator
Version: 2.0-1
Severity: important

Hmmm,

I purged the package-update-indicator package because it was filling
my /var/log/daemon.log (see other bug report), and discovered this
morning that it was still running :-(

It should probably execute a killall package-update-indicator in the
prerm.

Best wishes,

   Julian
