I can confirm the patch provided by dkg fixes this problem, which is
actually quite serious because it will break encryption to any UID that
ressembles one that is affected by this bug, even if the UID doesn't end
up being selected for other reasons.

For example, those UIDs were revoked by dkg after this experiment, yet
emacs still crashes when trying to use them.

The patch was accepted upstream, but I would suggest it might be a good
addition to buster as well...
