apt has issues installing cross Build-Depends for slxfig. It seems that its strong preference for real packages is posing a problem here. Thanks to Don, Julian and Johannes for helping me understand this. We all agreed that this is not a high priority problem. slxfig could simply drop its dependency on slang-histogram and we should likely remove slang-histogram from the archive given that it is provided by libslang2-modules.
