Package: vdirsyncer Version: 0.16.7-2 Severity: normal Dear Maintainer,
the versioned shipped by Debian sadly omits the .service and .timer systemd units present in the upstream github repository. Upstream even has a short documentation on how to activate the units once they are present. https://github.com/pimutils/vdirsyncer/blob/master/docs/tutorials/systemd-timer.rst It would make it really easy for fresh users to easily start running vdirsyncer on a schedule without getting comfortable with crontabs.
