Since I committed and pushed them to the tarball repo, I don't intend to touch them :-) I've applied fixes for the issues you encountered. (Note: branch has been rebased). This builds fine for me in a sid amd64 pbuilder chroot locally and on the ppc64el porterbox plummer.d.o. Looks like I previously forgot to integrate some of the ppc64el bits I had already fixed ... I always tried to build in both environments ... If you can confirm that this now works on Ubuntu as well on both architectures, I would upload it to experimental. And then let you prod ftp-master for quick processing :-) I assume you are targeting Ubuntu 19.04 :-) And then we would have another argument for doing this late transition for buster: it has been done on Ubuntu with(out) causing (serious) hassle :-) Andreas
