I ask because one funny thing about this is that I have tried a lot of times in virtual machines with 1 and 2 CPUs but the failures never happened on machines with only one CPU (and yet there are still people claiming that building on a single-CPU is deprecated...) Could it be that "make test" is not really safe to be run in parallel? Thanks.
