Hi Laurence, this change landed in Buster at the end of October, and at the same time on apt.postgresql.org. While I agree that we could split the packages, the urgency doesn't seem to be that high, given you are the first one to raise that complaint. For Buster, it is too late to change it. I'll see what I can do for apt.postgresql.org (and later for Bullseye). Christoph
