Hi. Well, nobody seems interested with this problem...
Anyway, here is more info, which confuses me even more. In "openoffice", I used the menu "File/export as PDF"; the resulting file is opened in "xpdf", which sends it to the printer, using the command lp -o Duplex=DuplexNoTumble This puts my printer in error. The same exact file is opened in "acroread", and with the same exact command string in the print window, the file prints fine!
