Package: chromium-widevine Version: 73.0.3683.75-1~deb9u1 Severity: normal Dear Maintainer,
chromium-widevine is basically an empty packet. As I understood you just have to enable report extensions to get widevine. I did try: $ chromium --enable-remote-extensions or $ CHROMIUM_FLAGS='--enable-remote-extensions' chromium None of which satisfies netflix. Google found some more suggestions that you could install chrome and then just copy the module to the chromium directory. But I feel this is not the right way. So what is the 'Debian' was to watch Netflix with Chromium? -BenoƮt- -- System Information: Debian Release: 9.9 APT prefers stable APT policy: (500, 'stable') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Foreign Architectures: i386 Kernel: Linux 4.14.0-3-amd64 (SMP w/4 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=de_CH.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=de_CH.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8), LANGUAGE=de_CH:de (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Init: systemd (via /run/systemd/system) Versions of packages chromium-widevine depends on: ii chromium 73.0.3683.75-1~deb9u1 chromium-widevine recommends no packages. chromium-widevine suggests no packages. -- no debconf information
