multimail fails to cross build from source, because it does not pass cross tools to make. The easiest way of fixing that - using dh_auto_build - is insufficient here, because multimail also passes -s to install and thus uses the wrong strip. This also happens to break the generation of -dbgsym packages. Stripping is best left to dh_strip. The attached patch fixes both. Please consider applying it. Helmut
