Package: webext-ublock-origin Version: 1.19.0+dfsg-2 Severity: important After upgrading from 1.18.4+dfsg-2 I found that uBlock Origin was no longer functional in firefox-esr. Some observations so far:
- uBlock Origin is still listed in about:addons and not deactivated, but there is no "Settings" button anymore to get to the dashboard. - Trying to load the dashboard manually by pasting moz-extension://xxxxxxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxxxxxxxxxx/dashboard.html into the address bar hangs (just displays the spinning wheel in the tab bar, and nothing else happens). - There is no icon in the toolbar, and no entry in the context menu when right-clicking somewhere in a web page. - The web is full of crappy ads. In a fresh profile uBlock Origin works, so apparently there is some incompatibility with this version and my highly customized profile. For now I have downgraded to 1.18.4+dfsg-2, which involved temporarily removing webext-ublock-origin because of the symlink → directory changes in 1.19.0. Any advice would be appreciated, I am at a loss. -- System Information: Debian Release: 10.0 APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable'), (101, 'experimental') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Foreign Architectures: i386 Kernel: Linux 5.2.0-nouveau (SMP w/2 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=de_DE.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=de_DE.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8), LANGUAGE=de_DE.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Init: systemd (via /run/systemd/system) webext-ublock-origin depends on no packages.
