Package: gdisk
Version: 1.0.3-1.1
Severity: important

Dear Maintainer,

hereby I declare my intentention to salvage the gdisk package as
described in the developer's reference and also
https://wiki.debian.org/PackageSalvaging
by uploading a new upstream version.

Checking the "conservative" criteria:

| A package is eligible for salvaging
| [x] if it is in clear need of some love and care, i.e. there are open
| bugs, missing upstream releases, or there is work needed from a
|     quality-assurance perspective;
| [x] AND there is the need to upload the package to deal with these issues;
| [x] AND at least one of these criteria applies:
|
| [x] There is no visible activity regarding the package for six
|         months, OR
|
|     [-]
| [x] A previous NMU was not acknowledged, and
| [-] a bug justifying another NMU is pending for one month 1, OR
|
| [x] The last upload was an NMU and there was no maintainer upload
|         within one year, OR
|
|     [-]
| [-] Bugs exist for more than one major missing upstream version2 and
| [-] the first bug is older than one year, OR
|
| [-] The package blocks a sourceful transition for six months after a
| transition bug was filed against the package in question.

This will also fix #769631 and #932483, and possibly more.

Following the procedure, please object by the end of August 12th the
latest.

All the best,

    Christoph
