Are there debian-based setups that don’t have ::1 on lo by default? If people take the manual labor upon them to disable IPv6, I personally don’t see an issue if they have to do more than just blacklist the ipv6 module.
With regards to the outbound configuration, I’m assuming powerdns ‘knows’ that there might not be a routable IPv6 address. But I get why it’s a harder sell.
