Package: dsniff Version: 2.4b1-13 Hi!
It seems the dsniff program doesn't work at all on current Debian
unstable. I tried to debug it and first of all found out that the
build depends are probably wrong. It seems that it is making use of
old libnet functions that are long gone in Debian's libnet1-dev
package...
Part #2 is the dep'y on libnids. As it seems, the TCP callback is
_only_ called upon tcp three-way handshake, but not subsequently (when
data has arrived.) This way, webspy will never ever try to invoke a
browser to show the URLs...
Thanks,
Jan-Benedict
