Hi,
Whilst working on the Reproducible Builds effort [0] we noticed
that readline could not be built reproducibly as
/usr/share/doc/libreadline8/examples/Makefile.gz embeds the build
path via embedding -ffile-prefix-map in CFLAGS.
Patch attached.
