Hi, I'm currently maintaining upstream mtd-utils. I saw that Debian Sid is currently at mtd-utils 2.0.1, which (as of yesterday) is now 2 years old.
Version 2.0.2 suggested by bug #921392 includes a number of bug fixes over 2.0.1 and was also released quite a bit over a year ago. I wondered if there is some kind compatibility, regression or other issue preventing an update to 2.0.2 that I should be aware of? In particular, I would also be interested in whether there are still issues upgrading to 2.1.x. Adding a number of new features and dependencies such as OpenSSL caused some regression (as anticipated). Most of which where addressed in 2.1.1 so far (released about a month ago). Thanks, David
