Package: debconf
Version: 1.4.72
Severity: normal

On a fresh installation of debian from net-install, updated to sid by a
dist-upgrade, I get a string of these messages when installing a locally
compiled
kernel package:

debconf: Unknown template field '_description', in stanza #21 of
/var/lib/dpkg/info/linux-image-2.6.16.templates

The installation itself is working fine, but this means of course I don't get
any
feedback on the process. Version 1.0 of po-debconf is also installed -- I don't
know for sure which package is responsible for the error. Let me know if I can
provide further information; it is reliably reproducible.
