I'm currently trying out unclutter-xfixes as I'm hitting the various unclutter bugs. Although unclutter-xfixes is a drop-in replacement, it does have some behavioural differences which might make people prefer the old unclutter. For example, xtrlock's padlock cursor gets hidden by unclutter-xfixes but not by old unclutter. So, I think that maybe unclutter and unclutter-xfixes should be separate source packages that register with the alternatives system? -- Sean Whitton
