Source: aff4
Severity: serious

Hello,
please package the new upstream release for aff4; according to
https://github.com/google/aff4 the project has been split in the Python and C
parts separately.

aff4 (specificly `'pyaff4 >= 0.26, < 0.30'`) is required by the new upstream
release of rekall. Additionally, since we're trying to port rekall to python 3,
aff4 will need to provide python 3 bindings too. Since rekall is the only
reverse-dependency of pyhton-aff4, you can as well drop the python2 bindings at
the same time, since we're trying to remove python 2 from bullseye,
https://wiki.debian.org/Python/2Removal .

The severity is set to serious because rekall requires this package to be
packaged, and it's already RC-buggy.

Regards,
Sandro
