Quack,

Sorry we've not been more vocal about this.

We worked to get it into Buster in time but various problems happened, like Rails 5 late to be stabilized, and we could not get an exception. I did not know it could be possible to have such a backport for a package not present in stable but Antonio told us and we're working in this direction already.

Currently the 4.0.4 version in unstable is working fine but unfortunately it is blocked from entering testing, which is a prerequisite for the backport. I am discussing a solution with Lucas and hope to have this out of the way soon.

In the meanwhile, if you take ruby-rouge and redmine from unstable you can migrate to Buster. That's what I did on my own installation and both migration and daily use is fine so far. That why I think 4.0.4 is a good candidate.

I'll keep you informed of the progress.
